This presentation provides an in-depth overview of ALCOSAN's modeling initiatives supporting the implementation of their Clean Water Plan (CWP) to address sewer overflows and meet the requirements of a Federal Consent Decree. Key topics include the development and deployment of a hydrologic and hydraulic model as an essential element of the plan. The presentation will cover ALCOSAN’s 33-year history with the Storm Water Management Model (SWMM), detailing model features and applications. Additionally, it will highlight the successful model sharing with 55 municipalities for compliance, emphasizing a low-carbon, environmentally conscious approach.
