Keynote: Well-Being and Evolution of Urban Water Systems Modeling: Truth, Beauty, and Goodness in Sewersheds

Steps in the evolution of holistic sewersheds are described and global examples are given, particularly of related art. Also covered is the guided evolution of engineering modelling for sewersheds. A philosophical leitmotif is that the evolution conforms to JC Smuts’ original philosophy of holism. Consequences, not widely foreseen, for sewersheds are Inevitability, Well-being, Truth, Beauty and Goodness.
