The Asset Tracker application design will be presented. It synchronizes disparate systems including review of sediment and stormwater plans in the office, inspections in the field, reporting, and communication. The single system makes information readily available for all staff through the life cycle of plan submittal to post construction maintenance and reporting. Creating a single system makes information readily available for all staff through the life cycle of plan submittal to post construction maintenance and reporting. By automating the workflow process, this asset tracker application can simplify project management and reporting using intuitive and simple online data gathering forms. The presenter will discuss building an online integrated system that tracks agricultural and sediment and stormwater projects through the project life cycle. This increases efficiency of tracking projects by storing all letters sent and other project information components together in the same accessible, on-line system. Projects are tracked more efficiently by recording inspections on mobile devices or the desktop, allowing inspectors to stay productive in environments where there is no internet service. Integrating the mobile inspection application makes information readily available for all staff. By simplifying the workflow process using intuitive and simple online data gathering forms, the data quality improves. Such a system can generate reports to translate data into actionable information to improve decision making.
