Appropriate parameter estimation for assessing green infrastructure alternatives in Combined Sewer Systems is becoming more important in rainfall-runoff modeling. This paper shows the result of the calibration of ten individual storm events in a distributed rainfall-runoff model in SWMM5 for addressing Green Infrastructure assessment in a combined sewer system. High detail rainfall and flow measurements were used. A gradient- based approach was implemented for both parameter estimation and sensitivity analysis. Although emphasis in calibration of single events is made, a comparison of single storm events calibration against continuous event calibration is presented. Analysis of estimated values and sensitivity of parameters in the rainfall-runoff model is made.
