This study analyzes detailed PCSWMM models of (a) pre-manhole rehabilitation and (b) post-manhole rehabilitation conditions. The authors adopted a detailed and automatic sensitivity, error and calibration analysis of the existing data files for a wide range of flow regimes. The authors also developed techniques to improve the spatial and temporal resolution of the rain data used in calibrating the pre-rehabilitation models, by applying available radar weather rain records to the models. The present study summarizes the methodology and makes a number of recommendations.
